Email tip to stay organized

I’m starting to use this where meaningful on my emails. As I routinely receive hundreds of emails that require a response or an action each day, this helps cut down email and keeps me organized. You can even get all creative by setting up filters and such.

This email is:    [ ] actionable   [x] fyi        [ ] social
Response needed:  [ ] yes          [x] if you want  [ ] no
Time-sensitive:   [ ] immediate    [ ] soon       [x] none

    What I do is I say, “I”ll respond later” and then if you wait long enough, but the time you go back, they fall into the “too late” category. It saves a lot of time.
