I love this ad campaign. It’s been very funny especially the hot breakfast bar one with the plate of bacon. Creating marketing that truly sticks is tough but Holiday Inn has pulled it off nicely. It got the wheels turning in my head for sure!

This one is a new ad apparently. I have yet to see it air on TV. Check it out and sound off in the comments.

On the way home from church this past Sunday, at 45 mph, a giant turkey flew out in front of our car. It was maybe 4-5 feet off the ground and we missed it by about 2 feet. Scared the mess out of my wife Janny.

It reminded me to watch out for “turkeys” in life because you never know when they will fly up in your area trying to mess you up.

Absolutely crazy names.

A while ago, when we rebuilt the Sphere of Hip-Hop message forum, my brother (from another mother) Jon created our “rankings”. Stuff like “fake louis vitton” and “gold teef”… even an extra special one “Urhines Kendall Icy Eight Special K.” I thought to myself… what in the world is that all about. Then I learned.

Just a few weeks ago I saw a new article about a judge in New Zealand that ordered a name change. Apparently some parents named their child “Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii“, seriously. There is an obvious humorous element to it but after that wears off… it’s just plan strange. Poor kid.
